When I try and debug a decent struct (like the tree nodes in DMD) by hovering and then unfolding them, inspecting member values, unfold into the base classes and all that, I'm noticing that VS often freezes and locks up, and sometimes eventually crashes after a short while (30-60 seconds). It's happened 4-5 times in the last hour.
This is with build 1.0.186 from https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rainers/visuald/history? Is it ok with 1.0.185?
I didn't compare... I'll check next time I'm doing work.
I've hit this too: it's a stack overflow that happens because indirections are now followed more often when printing a value. That's bad when there are circular references... Next build should have that fixed.
