Making it very hard to figure out what actually hung, since the autotester runs multiple threads.

For example,

  https://github.com/dlang/dmd/pull/11252

It should report something like:

  error: timed out running test 'dmd builtin'

instead of just:

  timed out after 3600 seconds, step failed
